"Roll Around the Ranch" Health and Wellness Fair is Saturday, May 20, 2017 

The Rancho Los Amigos “Roll Around the Ranch Health & Wellness Fair” is an annual event that aims to promote stroke awareness and prevention. In 2006, a group of Rancho visionaries saw a void that needed to be filled - the National Stroke Association annual event had come to an end due to resource limitations.  Our community needed a venue to celebrate our patients’ accomplishments, encourage current patients to keep working hard in their recovery process, engage people in physically challenging activities, educate the community about stroke prevention, and provide resources for everyone in a fun, warm, welcoming atmosphere. With unstoppable impetus and collective intention, the Roll Around the Ranch Health & Wellness Fair made its debut in 2007. The fun had just begun! 
 

Each year onward the event has continued to blossom, with more than 800 participants, volunteers and community sponsors attending in 2015. With support from our community, we have been able to offer a fun-filled morning of race activities, live entertainment, motivational speeches, raffles, and health fair free of cost to those who pre-register. A “Wall of Hope” proudly displays names in memory of loved ones or in support of family/friends who have had a stroke. ….there’s something for everyone in the family!

"Roll Around the Ranch" is an event that emcompasses the Mission of Rancho Los Amigos.  It creates a sense of community, support, and achievement among individuals of all abilities and those who are medically-underserved.  Don’t miss out on a fun-filled and inspiring day!

Participants

Register online by May 5, 2017 to register for FREE.  All those who complete registration by May 5 receive a free t-shirt!  You can also register on the day of the event for $10, t-shirt included while supplies last.

Roll Around the Ranch T-shirts will be available for purchase at the event for $10.  Proceeds benefit future Roll Around the Ranch events.

A Rancho staff member or volunteer will be provided to you as a Race Buddy upon request.  You may want a Race Buddy if:                                                                                                                                                                                                                 

• You need rest breaks and/or someone to push your wheelchair
• You have never walked/pushed your wheelchair for more than a half a mile
   

Indicate that you would like to be teamed-up with a Race Buddy by checking the "Yes" button on the participant registration form at the statement, "I need a Race Buddy".
