Give to Rancho
A gift to Rancho Los Amigos Foundation goes directly to support patient activities and programs at the Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center. Rancho is a public hospital that provides specialty rehabilitative care to thousands of individuals with catastrophic illnesses and injuries on an annual basis.
Our funding helps patients who have suffered major strokes, spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, birth defects, or other disabling conditions build bridges to independence so they may return to their family, school, or job. Many patients make miraculous recoveries; defying the odds because of the excellent care they receive here at Rancho, which helps heal their bodies and rebuild their self-esteem.
How To Give
Gifts made to the Rancho Los Amigos Foundation are given for many reasons: in appreciation of care received; in tribute of a loved one; to honor a special doctor or clinician; or because you believe in our mission to Restore Health, Rebuild Lives, and Revitalize Hope. The Rancho Los Amigos Foundation is a separate, tax-exempt 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization; thus, your charitable contributions are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowable by law.
Gifts from individuals, private and/or family foundations, and local/regional companies are essential to helping the Rancho Los Amigos Foundation address the complete recovery needs of our patients; in many instances these programs would not otherwise be possible with out the community's support.
Ways To Give
There are a variety of ways to support Rancho:
Gifts of Cash - Gifts of cash, check or credit cards are the simplest ways to give.
Gifts of Stocks, Bonds or Mutual Funds - You can donate your securities to the Rancho Los Amigos Foundation; receiving the maximum tax deduction for their full market value and avoiding tax on the capital gain.
Bequest/Estate - After taking care of your family and loved ones, you can leave a portion of your estate through your will to Rancho Los Amigos Foundation.
Other Assets - IRAs, life insurance policies, and the gift of real estate
