The Rancho Los Amigos “Roll Around the Ranch Health & Wellness Fair” is an annual 5K/1K roll/walk/run event that aims to promote stroke awareness and prevention. In 2006, a group of Rancho visionaries saw a void that needed to be filled - the National Stroke Association annual event had come to an end due to resource limitations.  Our community needed a venue to celebrate our patients’ accomplishments, encourage current patients to keep working hard in their recovery process, engage people in physically challenging activities, educate the community about stroke prevention, and provide resources for everyone in a fun, warm, welcoming atmosphere. With unstoppable impetus and collective intention, the Roll Around the Ranch Health & Wellness Fair made its debut in 2007. The fun had just begun! 
 

Each year onward the event has continued to blossom, with more than 800 participants, volunteers and community sponsors attending in 2014. With support from our community, we have been able to offer a fun-filled morning of race activities, live entertainment, motivational speeches, raffles, and health fair free of cost to those who pre-register. All participants receive a special medal as they cross the finish line to celebrate their achievements. A “Wall of Hope” proudly displays names in memory of loved ones or in support of family/friends who have had a stroke. T-shirts, goody bags, and raffle prizes ….there’s something for everyone in the family!

The Roll Around the Ranch Health & Wellness Fair creates a sense of community, support, and achievement among individuals of all abilities and those who are medically-underserved.  Don’t miss out!
